To mark the recent blockbuster success of the Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s Jurassic World Dominion, Bill Amberg Studio is delighted to make available the brown leather backpack, which was selected by costume designer Joanna Johnston for Dr. Ellie Sattler’s daily backpack, as portrayed by Laura Dern.
Each bag is handcrafted in the UK using century-old hand-crafting techniques. The studio uses lightweight, vegetable-tanned drummed shoulder leather which is both extremely durable and full of character. The natural oils in the hide itself help make it robust and water-resistant – ideal for action-packed adventures. Due to the quality and nature of the material, this bag will look better the more it is used.
The generous interior of the backpack is lined with sturdy navy-blue cotton drill and is easily closed with a leather drawstring and brass press-fastener to ensure everything stays safely inside. Two unlined pockets under the flap on the outside provide a convenient place to stash
phones, stationery and other essentials which can be easily accessed. The backpack also features two buckle-adjusted straps which can be used to hold a jumper, blanket and other essential kit. All fittings are in rust-resistant cast brass and all straps are fashioned from English bridle leather.
