Modernist Desk

We are often asked to create bespoke items of furniture from scratch, which reference classical designs. This 1950’s style Jacques Adnet-inspired desk with petrol-blue leather and off-white handstitched detailing is a fine example of this.

Having worked with the client on initial concept and renderings, we then managed the production and fabrication of the brass frame and hardwood drawer pack. The complexity of the leatherwork demanded meticulous attention to detail, and our team used hand-stitching techniques traditionally employed in saddlery for the desk’s finishing.
