Harrods

As one of the world’s most famous luxury retail destinations, Harrods is used to offering the best in class to their customers.

To keep atop the burgeoning luxury watch market, the shop invested in a redevelopment that saw its Fine Watch Department upgraded and extended across two floors.

Working closely with architects, Rundell Associates, we were asked to create over 500 sqm of twin-stitched and hand embossed leather wall panels, alongside sales desks, columns, VIP after-care desks, signage and over 40 linear metres of leather-clad handrails that lead visitors down the central, sweeping marble-lined staircase.

BAS worked with the architect and client team to develop a range of three bespoke tones using a semi-aniline leather, that retains the natural grain of the material. The results are luxurious yet understated, to place focus on the remarkable timepieces on show and keep Harrods at the forefront of global high watchmaking retail.
