Private residence, Radlett
We were asked to create leather treads and risers for a client’s Mid-Century Modern home near St Albans. Leather was specified to provide touch points and to soften some of the harder materials of glass and brushed concrete used throughout the building.
Our team prepared leather panels for the client’s two staircases, with a subtle polished edge detail. To complement the stairs, we also clad the corresponding handrails using the same vegetable-tanned leather, in a deep tan.
