Architectural Sample Box

Each sample box is cut from vegetable-tanned leather and hand box-stitched by one of our talented leatherworkers. Inside, we include a mix of flat panels and handrail samples, which provide an overview of our most popular leatherworking techniques. Perfect for material libraries.

A typical box may include fielded or woven panels suitable for wall panelling, plain butted floor samples, and machine-stitched rug samples. Handrail sections cover gilding to tennis-wrap cladding, with many of the techniques as readily applied to furniture, as interiors or architectural leatherwork.

Featuring a selection of Bill’s favourite leathers, our intention is for these sample boxes to spark creative conversations and offer an insight into the tremendous breadth of possibilities when working with or specifying leather; the most tactile and rewarding of natural materials.
