Rivet Stool

The Rivet Stool is a product that draws on Bill Amberg’s experience and experiments into leather’s capabilities. In particular, exploring it's abilities as a load bearing structural material. The Rivet Stool is hand crafted from a single piece of 6mm thick leather. This leather is usually reserved for the shoe making industry. The Rivet Stool has no internal structure. It takes the material out of its expected context to produce a bold, lightweight, versatile, and robust item of furniture.

The Rivet Stool is handcrafted to order at Bill Amberg Studio’s workshop in London.
